Blend equal amounts of peeled ginger and garlic with a little oil and ½ teaspoon of salt per cup, spoon it into an ice cube tray, freeze, then pop the cubes into a zip bag. One cube is about 1 tablespoon. It keeps for 4 to 6 months in the freezer and up to about a week in the fridge.
