Why grams to cups is different for every ingredient
A cup measures space, a gram measures weight. A cup of light, airy besan weighs about 90 g, while a cup of honey weighs 340 g. That is why you have to choose the ingredient before converting grams to cups.
When baking, weighing is always more accurate. For everyday salan, daal and rice, cups are fine.
How to measure a cup properly
- Spoon, do not scoop. Spoon flour into the cup and level it with a knife.
